Dollar General 3-Day Sale & updated Valentine’s Day Clearance!

Dollar General’s 3-Day sale starts today!  If you have been eyeing the brown and purple dot home decor, you might want to check out this sale!  The sale starts today and ends on Sunday, so you might want to hold out until tomorrow to use the Saturday coupon.

Feb 21 – 23:

Select home decor, bath, bedding, rugs, housewares, blankets, and throws with brown or purple dot should ring up 50% off the regular price.  While, this is not usually a stock up type sale for most of us, it’s a nice discount if you have been wanting a few things.

Additionally, fall hardware should ring up 50% off.  A few months back, they called the camo and orange tape fall hardware and it has pennied.  Guess what?  Those UPC’s are also on the  50% off list (although I left them off), but I just double checked a roll and it is still a penny.  They really try to confuse us though!

If you are new to penny shopping, this is a GREAT place to start.  This is the markdown process.  Valentine’s Day should go to a penny at some point.  I see so many people saying that their stores don’t have penny items.  Items sell out.  Also, stores are supposed to pull these items when they are to go to 1¢.  This big hauls are not at all stores … the big hauls are for stores that didn’t sell their merchandise and the employees didn’t pull the items from the shelves.
