Aerogarden on sale at Amazon (hydroponic growing)
Check it out! Right now Amazon has a nice “Black Friday” sale going on and select Aerogarden hydroponic gardening systems and they are at really great prices.
I do not have my Aerogardens up and running right now, but as I’m trying to close up the outdoor garden, I will soon be growing in my indoors again. I may even get a chance to set a couple of them up today.
I am winding down the garden here in Pennsylvania. I still have a few things growing well. I have a cover over my collards (secured around the trough by bungy cords to keep animals out) and while I think they are a little stunted due to less lighting, they are still giving me nice harvests. These pictures are from yesterday.
I also have dill and French sorrel alive and well in my garden.
I want to start growing greens and herbs indoors again to have them fresh at my fingertips. You can do this too!
I LOVE growing in Aerogardens and it is so easy. I have 3 Aerogarden systems. I even bought a few in the past as gifts – that is how much I love them!

If you are just starting out, I recommend the Aerogarden Harvest Elite, while there is a slightly cheaper Harvest model, I think this Harvest Elite model has everything you really need. It has indicators to tell you when the water is low and when you need to add nutrients. This one has 6 pods.
The Aerogarden Harvest 2.0 is pretty basic. You will need to keep track of when to add nutrients and check the water level as there are not indicators or reminders on this model.
If you want a bigger model (I have one of these too), the Aerogarden Bounty is a nice size with 9 pods. While I can’t find a picture, I did grow micro tomatoes in one of my Aerogarden systems.
If you want all the “bells and whistles”, the Aerogarden Bounty with WiFi and Alexa compatible is also on sale. Personally, I like things simple, so this one is not for me. But, I know some of you like all this fancy stuff.
If you want to try growing hydroponically, but don’t want to invest too much, the Aerogarden Sprout is also on sale right now.
All opinions in this post are my own.
Something to consider when setting up one of these Aerogarden systems is the lighting. You can set the time that the lights come on, but they have to be on a certain number of hours. So, be sure wherever you put it isn’t going to interfere with your sleep.
Here are some pictures from my own Aerogarden systems growing from previous seasons. You can grow year round too.
These are starter plants that I grew for my outside garden:
Baby Bok Choi that I grew.
Hen-pecked Collards:
And, as I said earlier, I think these make wonderful gifts.
Happy shopping!
