Dollar General 3-Day Sale – B1G2 FREE – starts tomorrow!

Buy 1 get 2 free starts Thursday and ends Saturday.  This is only on select seasonal categories and remember that there will be exclusions.

Percentages for each category are varying from store to store.

Thursday, Sep 19 through Saturday, Sep 21 these categories will be buy 1 get 2 free.  Most (if not all) stores already have these items for 25% off or MORE!  So, this is going to be a really awesome sale!

  • Lawn and Garden – excludes charcoal, fans, heaters, grills, propane, and grills. Other exclusions may also apply.
  • Green Dot Home spring decor and housewares.
  • Yellow and White Dot clothing, shoes, and accessories.  Some flips flops are excluded.  Usually the cheaper ones are the ones excluded.
  • Pink Square Swim and Summer.

For example.  If one item is $10 and it is on clearance already at 25% off, the price would be $7.50 … but you with buy 1 get 2 free, you get THREE for $7.50 making them only $2.50 each!  We will have to wait until tomorrow to see how this plays out as sometimes in the past, they have done some weird math at the register … and other times, the highest price item is the price you pay for all 3 items.   I do believe this should be early activation after 7 pm today, but I could be mistaken.

There could be additional exclusions in any of the categories.  The sale ad says that you must purchase 3 to get the discounted price.  If I am correct, you will need to purchase 3 in a category … not across categories, but we will see when Thursday gets here as Dollar General doesn’t always do things the ways it’s advertised.

This is a great time to stock up for next year or for birthday presents or even holiday presents!  Time flies and you will be ready for anything!
