These scenarios are valid Saturday 8/22/20.

A few things to remember:

•Not everyone will have all these digital coupons. Or you may have already used some. Digital coupons are one time use.

•Regular prices may vary by location. Use the DG app to verify price. And to check the digital coupon is still properly attaching.

•And this Saturday because of the Clearance event ,  it will be extra important to use the DG app to scan items to verify price!! Make sure your total before coupons is $25 (do not include tax). If you are new to Dollar General, there is  more info below on how to use digital coupons.

These scenarios are just ideas. Mix  and Match items, according to what you need and the coupons you have. Digital coupons are one time use. 

 

This first scenario uses digitals that came out this week.   Note: There is a Schick razor on clearance-  will make for a better deal if you find it. Just be sure to add an extra item to meet the $25 threshold to use your $5 off $25.

 

This next scenario is Super low out of pocket if you were lucky enough to  get these high value coupons. Not everyone got the Allegra or Poise coupons

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.

If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.

**Scan items with the app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.**
