Dollar General 50% off Clearance list for Saturday/Sunday!
As you know we have a Dollar General clearance event coming up tomorrow. We have put a list together of some of the most recent items to be marked as clearance. Most stores will be 50% off the clearance price. If the price is regularly $1 and clearanced at 10% off, the item will be 90¢ (and scan 45¢, which is 50% off).
Use the Dollar General app to scan items to see what the clearance price is. That is the price you will pay. It is NOT 50% off the price it scans. It is 50% off the current clearance price.
While we mostly match with digitals, I have also included a printable coupon deal to this post that should give overage on the toilet paper that is included! We have no affiliation with Dollar General and some items may not ring up correctly. Remember it is not the cashier’s fault. If the item is clearly marked “clearance” they should override. YMMV Please be kind.
There is a money-maker, freebie Colgate Renewal Gum toothpaste after digital coupon and Colgate gum protection toothpaste two for free after digital coupon – see list. Please note that they are NOT allowed to give cash back, you must have something to cover overage. If you are in the negative, buy something else to cover it. There are 34¢ candy and gum you could grab if you just need a few cents.
If you don’t mind smelling like an air freshener, here is a good money-maker, freebie on the evergreen scented Angel Soft!
Toilet Paper:
- Angel Soft Bath Tissue Evergreen 6 mega rolls
$2.75 (50% off $1.38 – $1.50 printable coupon!) 12¢ overage! Money maker freebie!
Some stores may not accept printable coupons.
You can go here to sign up for the coupon:
Only one of the coupons is for the 6 mega rolls. You can print it twice. My coupon link came within minutes of signing up.
Here are some of the most recent items that have been marked down at Dollar General. YMMV
There are a lot of really good deals, but remember that clearance will vary by store. Most of the same items will be clearance at all stores, but some may be sold out. The earlier you shop, the better selection you may get.
Don’t just look in the clearance section or you will miss out. Check the regular shelves for orange clearance tags. Your stores may have clearance pulled and in the front on a table too. So look around! These graphic lists are just the latest markdowns and there should be older markdowns too, but the newer ones should be easier to find as others may have sold out by now.
Again, please note that this is just the newest list of clearance items. There are many other older clearance items to be found but maybe not as readily available. Be sure to scan items on end caps to see if they are marked down.
Also, check side wings. You never know where items end up. Even if your store hasn’t marked the items on this clearance list as clearance (orange tags on shelves), check them anyway. Sometimes the stores don’t get around to putting up signs immediately.
In addition to the lists, there is a whole list of Jasmine Lane jewelry. These may be in select stores. I have only seen these at one store and they were on a wing on an end cap. If you are interested in getting the jewelry during the clearance event, just scan them to see which ones are included. There are too many to list:
Also, there is a ton of makeup on clearance. I’m not typing that list either. Either look for the orange tags or scan the ones you are interested in to see if they are included.
One of our local stores has these Fisher Price toys marked as clearance. I’m not sure if other stores have these and if they are on clearance everywhere. But, you can look for them and scan the UPC with the Dollar General app to see if they are marked down.
If you are having bad weather and are still going out, please be careful! Be sure to use the $5 off $25 Saturday digital if you are shopping on Saturday! Also, there were $5 off $30 coupons on the bottom of receipts this week. Don’t forget to take them with you.
Happy shopping … and saving!
