Dollar General Ad Errors?
I don’t even know where to start with this today, but it’s quite frustrating to try to figure out deals when the Dollar General app isn’t showing the same prices as the weekly ad.
I am working on coupon deals and the sales for this week, but so many items are not showing correctly in the Dollar General app.
These “may” ring correctly at the register, but keep an eye on the prices so that you can have them correct the items if they don’t ring right.
- The Clover Valley 4 lb sugar and Clover Valley 5 lb all purpose flour have digital coupons that show under the coupons, but not under the products when they are added. Will they come off at the register anyway? I don’t know. Each shows $1 in the ad (after the digital coupons).
- The Maxwell House coffee that is listed as 2 for $10, is not for all that they have listed. Some are actually 2 for $11. The ad says instant savings attaches … but the instant savings is $2 off $12 and some varieties are showing $5.50 each making them only $11 and not eligible for the $2 off $12.
- The All, Purex, and Snuggle in the ad shows they are on sale for 2 for $8 making them 2 for $4 after coupon. They are still showing 2 for $10 and not 2 for $8, making them 2 for $6 after coupon.
- The 2 for $2 marshmallows in the ad are not showing correctly in the Dollar General app. They are showing full price.
There may be additional errors that I have not found yet. Be sure to check your receipts before leaving the store.
