Dollar General: Alabama Remodels (select 50% off)!

Check out the upcoming remodels at Dollar General stores in Alabama! Some of these stores have frozen (and most likely select refrigerated items) at 50% off! Get these deals while they last!

The stores in the lists are marked with the items that I found to be 50% off when searching Brickseek. The frozen food most likely went to 50% on Monday, so there is still a good chance you can get some deals if you hurry!

I did not do the whole state of Alabama this week, but updated last week’s list and added an additional one that I found when I updated. If you want to check for other Dollar General remodels, you can see how I do it in my video:

I use (4) different UPC’s for most of the ones that I find. It seems to be a good combination as all remodels are different.

So, here are the stores that are upcoming remodels in Alabama that I have for you. The stores that are 50% off frozen (pot pies are what I search for) should penny this coming Sunday. You will need to search for the items that are specifically marked down at your store with your DG app. I do not have time to do each store. The item or items under each store listed have what I found to be 50% off while searching. That does not mean that is all that is marked down.

As you can see, some of these stores do have the frozen pot pie at 50%. This is an indication that these stores will penny this coming Sunday.

Reminder: Dollar General employees are supposed to pull penny items from the sales floor. We only get what they miss. Do not ask about penny items. Verify prices with the DG app set to the correct store.

You will need to do your homework if you are going to try to hit the remodel when items penny. Search the DG app for markdowns at your store to find out what is clearancing.

1. Add items to your “list” in the DG app.
2. Check first thing on Sunday morning to see if they all set to 0.00.
3. Go to store. (Possibly wait in really long line)
4. Recheck prices with the DG app while in store.

BE PREPARED! Bring a phone charger, tissues, cough drop or candy, water … you may be a while! Bring a BIG bag in case all the shopping carts are taken.

But, most of all, have fun – be kind – and respect other shoppers and employees! Please do not make a mess!

Also, you can sometimes find penny items after a remodel. Items that are put back out but have not gone back to full price yet. So here are a couple stores to check:
