Dollar General ALL DIGITAL $5 off $25 Scenarios for November 14

Dollar General All digital scenarios using the $5 off $25 coupon valid Saturday 11/14/20.

I have more information below for people new to using digital coupons at Dollar General. But a quick reminder to all:

  • You may not have every coupon I show. Not everyone gets every coupon, or you may have already used it or it may no longer be available to clip.
  • Prices may vary.  Scan each item at the store to verify the price and the digital coupon is still attaching correctly.  You need to be at $25 after instant savings, but before coupons for the $5/$25 to deduct.
  • Use these scenarios as is, or mix and match items based on your needs and available coupons.

Check out our post with

Dollar General ALL DIGITAL coupon deals

to help build your own scenario or for filler ideas.

This first scenario uses digital coupons that came out this week, so you may be more likely to have them.

Note: this scenario includes an instant savings. Instant savings deduct first, prior to $5/$25.  In this case our instant savings is $2, so our subtotal needs to be at least $27, so after the $2 instant savings deduct, our new subtotal is at least $25. Then the $5/$25 and product digitals deduct.

Also this scenario is an example of how you can stack a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon on the same item(s)

This next scenario is super low out of pocket. Any of these individual deals are great to use as fillers/substitutions for another scenario.

This next scenario includes using the $5 off $20 Gain digital coupon. Be very careful to scan all your Gain scented items. Not everything applies like it should. Scan to ensure each item attaches to both the $5/$20 Gain and individual product digital.

For the next scenario check for an Ibotta  offer for the Luvs. (Offers vary by account and can expire early at any time)

This next scenario is a good example of when you pay LESS when you buy MORE.  The dog food alone would be $14.45 if bought alone. But add on some coupon items to take advantage of the $5/$25, and pay $12.90 for everything.

Check for  Ibotta  offers for Purex and Bella dog food for the next scenario. (Ibotta offers vary by account and can expire early at any time)

Another good one for our furry friends

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.

If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.

**Scan items with the app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.**

*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.

*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.

*I strongly encourage you to use the DG app to scan items at your store to verify price and coupon is attaching properly.

*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.

*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!

*Digital coupons are one time use!

*Use these scenarios as guides. Mix and Match items you want and have coupons for.
