Dollar General ALL DIGITAL $5 off $25 scenarios for Saturday November 21
Dollar General ALL DIGITAL $5 off $25 scenarios valid Saturday, November 21, 2020.
I have more information at the end of the post for people new to using digital coupons at Dollar General.
But a quick reminder to all:
- Prices may vary. Scan each item at the store to verify the price and the digital coupon is still attaching correctly.
- You need to be at $25 after instant savings, but before coupons for the $5/$25 to deduct.
- Use these scenarios as is, or mix and match items based on your needs and available coupons.
Check out our posts with more individual deals to help build your own scenario or for substitution ideas:
Dollar General ALL DIGITAL coupon deals
Scenario #1 uses digital coupons that came out this week.
Note: the Axe digital coupon is more than the cost of the product. Dollar General changed their coupon policy to exclude overage, however they have not reprogrammed all the registers so you may still get overage, but not guaranteed.
Scenario #2 is a super low out of pocket. The individual deals are all great as fillers or substitutions for any other scenario.
Scenario #3 is great if you need diapers. If you don’t need detergent, like I have in the scenario, substitute with whatever you need or with some cheap filler items.
Ibotta offers vary by account and can expire early at any time.
Scenario #4 includes an instant savings. Remember, instant savings deduct first. In this example, our original subtotal needs to be at least $28, so after the $3 instant savings deduct, the new subtotal is at least $25. Then the $5/$25 and other digitals will deduct.
Also check for Fetch Rewards offers for Scott and Kotex. Offers vary by account, but I have specific offers for both.
Scenario #5 includes all food items
Scenario #6. Ibotta offers vary by account and can expire early at any time.
Scenario #7. I always try to include one for our furry friends.

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:
- Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
- “Clip” the coupons to your account.
- When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
- Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.
If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.
If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.
**Scan items with the app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.**
*Not everyone will have every digital. You may not have received it. Or you didn’t clip it in time. Or you already used it.
*Prices may vary by location or items may be on clearance. So the price I show may be different than at your store.
*I strongly encourage you to use the DG app to scan items at your store to verify price and coupon is attaching properly.
*Occasionally the app does not show a coupon attaching when scanned from home, but will when scanned at the store. If I have it in a scenario I confirmed it at time of posting.
*Occasionally in your app “list” it will not deduct the $5/$25 coupon for your final cost. It happens to me but it does indeed deduct at the register!
*Digital coupons are one time use!
*Use these scenarios as guides. Mix and Match items you want and have coupons for.
