Dollar General BOGO Seasonal 3-Day Sale!

Dollar General is having a 3-day sale where select seasonal items are buy one get one free.  I haven’t really been shopping at Dollar General much lately as I have been hitting Walmart’s clearance.

So these are the buy one get one free items through Saturday:

• Pink Square swim and summer (already 50% off at most stores)
• Yellow and white dot clothing (not sure about white dot, but yellow dot are already 50% off at most stores)
• Green Dot home (already 25% off at most stores)
• Lawn and Garden (already 25% off at most stores).  There are a lot of exclusions.  Excludes charcoal, coolers, fans, grills, heaters, propane, hoses, and potting soil.  You can scan items with the Dollar General app to see if they are included.  When you scan it, the sale will show under the item in the app if it is included.

These are better deals than I first thought.  For instance, a Pink Square toy that is originally $10 would now be $5, plus you can buy one get one free.  I personally would try to get similar priced items to be sure you are getting the best value.  Two $10 Pink Square would end up being $5 for 2!  That’s $2.50 each or 75% off.

If you don’t get similar priced items, you could end up not saving as much.  Also, red dot is on sale for buy one get one 50% off this week.

There isn’t much seasonal left at my local store.  I might have to go hit up a different store or two today and see what I can find.  Clothing is only available at select stores now.

Of course, shopping Saturday with the $5 off $25 coupon would be the best value – if you want to wait.
