Dollar General Clearance Event May 12 – 14!
The next Dollar General clearance event starts this Friday! You have a few days to get ready and clip your digitals as well as to go through your insert coupons and print any additional coupons that you may need.
The Dollar General clearance event will include seasonal as well as regular (core) clearance. I know you all are just as excited as I am about this.
Most Dollar General stores will be giving an extra 50% off the already clearanced prices. A few stores here and there may have a different percentage off. There may also be some stores that do not participate. You can check the prices in your Dollar General app by scanning the UPC’s of the items while in store. Or browse the app for markdowns. The price you see in the app should be the price of the item in that store.
- Again, clip your digital coupons in the Dollar General app.
- Check out Coupons.com for printables (some stores may not take printables).
- Check out P&G for coupons and rebates:
- Also, check Ibotta for rebates and scan your receipts into Fetch too!
Ibotta If you would like to try Ibotta, a cash back rewards app to make real money when you shop for groceries, online purchases, and more! Just use my referral code “wtkf4g” at registration.
Fetch Rewards Turn almost any receipt into gift cards! Use my referral code, M3FJH, during signup and you’ll get 2,000 Fetch Points just for scanning your first receipt.
Seasonal markdowns that should be included. These should be EXTRA 50% off the already low clearance price:
- Blue Dot Accessories (already 90% off)
- Red Triangle Socks (already 90% off)
- Back to School Stationery (already 70% off)
- Gray Dot Clothing (already 70% off)
- Brown Dot Home (percent off now varies by store)
This should be 50% off regular price:
- Purple Dot Home (some exclusions may apply)
Also, here are a couple pictures of clearance that I have seen recently that should be 50% off during this clearance event:
Remember to look for orange clearance stickers on regular shelves too. Some stores are a little behind on getting their clearance moved. Also, clearance merchandise may vary by store.
As always, please respect the store, employees, and other shoppers. And, please don’t make a mess.
Happy shopping!
