Dollar General Clearance Event starts this Friday!

The next Dollar General clearance event is scheduled to start this Friday!  Most stores will be an extra 50% off regular clearance as well as select seasonal clearance categories.  Some stores will most likely have 70% off these items.  The 70% off stores change from clearance to clearance.

The sections that are included in this Dollar General clearance event for 50% off (or, if you are lucky a 70% off store) are as follows:

  • Clearance area (s) – some clearance is only 10% off, so your items will be an extra 50% off the price after 10%.
  • Blue Dot Toys
  • Green Diamond & Yellow Diamond Electronics
  • Green Clover Home
  • Purple Clover Home
  • Summer BBQ (this is summer foods/ice pops) – should be 25% off now, so 50% off the discounted price.
  • Select Dinnerware Pantry
  • Select Sanitizers and Wipes

Please note that EXTRA 50% off is not double 50% off – although some stores may get confused and give this to you.  It is EXTRA 50% off of the price it was the day before.  I am not sure why this is always so confusing to shoppers.

The Dollar General app should show the correct price during the clearance event.  There are ALWAYS exclusions during these events.

Remember we have no affiliation with Dollar General.

Watch the register while things are being scanned to be sure the price is correct.
