Dollar General “Extra 50% off Clearance Event” starts today!

Are you all as excited as I am about the Dollar General Clearance Event?  Clearance items will be an extra 50% off the marked price starting today and going through Sunday!  (Feb 10-12).  Blue and gray dot apparel, shoes, and accessories will also be 50% off for this event.

I hope you have your coupons ready!

StockPileForLess.com has some of the coupon deals posted as well as a list of coupons that she suggests that you print for this event.  Also, you can search the Penny Puss Coupon Database if you are looking for a particular coupon.  The Coupon Database contains links to printables as well as the information as to which insert a coupon can be found in.

Look for “clearance” shelf tags as well as orange clearance stickers.

I’m not sure how many stores I will go to as it’s a bit icy out there this morning.  I am hoping be the first customer at my local store, though.  I don’t have a lot of coupons, but I do have a few for the items that I want.

Remember to check your receipts to see if you got the survey on it that rewards you with a $3 off $15 coupon!  This will pair well with the clearance event!

Try to be patient with the employees as some items end up not ringing right … and employees can’t help what the register does.  If it’s clearly marked clearance though, they should be able to manually reduce it for you.
