Dollar General: Michigan Remodeling (50% off select)!

There are several stores that are getting ready to remodel in Michigan. Some even have select frozen and refrigerated food at 50% off right now!

I did not search for the whole state of Michigan this week, most of these are carryovers that did not remodel yet that I found last week. I think there is one additional that I found by just rechecking the ones from last week. I do not have enough time to do all the states right now.

If you want to find your own remodels, this is how I do it:

The items and UPC’s of the items as well as how I suggest doing the searches on Brickseek are in the video.

The item or items indicated under each store are the items that I used to find the remodels using the Brickseek site. Additional items will need to be found by you, if you want to check one of these stores.

You will need to use the DG app and check to see what other items are marked down at your store. Not everyone wants to wait for the remodel penny Sunday, as you may not get anything. You might want to go and see what you can get at 50% off though!

Penny items are supposed to be pulled from the sales floor. We only get what the employees miss! Do not ask about pennies! Some stores are very good at pulling – others, not so much.

Here are the stores in Michigan that I have for upcoming remodels:

As you can see, some of these stores do have the frozen pot pie at 50%. This is an indication that these stores will penny this coming Sunday.

You will need to do your homework if you are going to try to hit the remodel when items penny.
1. Add items to your “list” in the DG app.
2. Check first thing on Sunday morning to see if they all set to 0.00.
3. Go to store. (Possibly wait in really long line)
4. Recheck prices with the DG app while in store.

BE PREPARED! Bring a phone charger, tissues, cough drop or candy, water … you may be a while! Bring a BIG bag in case all the shopping carts are taken.

But, most of all, have fun – be kind – and respect other shoppers and employees! Please do not make a mess!
