Dollar General NCI Home Store Haul!
Oh my! I was really not going out today for a bunch of bologna … literally bologna, but we got a Friday morning surprise list AND it just got better after that!
So, you all are probably aware that the Eckrich meat products were to penny today and I was happy to let someone else find those items. Then, the surprise list came out and I told my husband we were heading out!
So, I found some makeup, some napkins, a few other little things … he wasn’t too thrilled about this kind of stuff for penny shopping. But, he’s a good guy and is usually pretty easy going. I asked him to stay at the cart in the clearance aisle and scan each makeup item in the box (most were scanning a penny). I went to look around and I found the LAV pink boxed glasses that have been 50% off for a while and scanned them. Ran back over and said, “forget the makeup” bring the cart. There were 10 or more boxes of these glasses in the one store. Then, I started checking vases and found the pink and green clovers had pennied too! (Don’t get purple clover confused with pink.)
The day got much better and we found pillows, blankets, silverware, and even comforters!

So, I’m pretty happy with my penny hauls today. We hit two NCI stores for penny items and now back at home.
