Dollar General New Markdowns starting Tuesday, Jan 11th!

Dollar General has some new scheduled markdowns on holiday clearance starting Tuesday, January 11th.  Right now, we do not have a penny list yet.  We will post when and if we get one for this week.

New markdowns for Dollar General holiday merchandise is as follows:

  • Holiday baking and food gifts 50% off (many candy items are not clearanced but moving to Valentine’s Day)
  • Holiday decor, stationery, and socks 70% off
  • NYE party 25¢
  • Holiday plastics should go to 25% off

Be sure to check the items with the Dollar General app as many items may be excludes.  Most trees, lights, and wrapping paper are usually excluded.

If you are not in our anywhere group, you might want to join.  Sometimes when I am just running into stores, I post what I find in the group and not on our website.

Just note, that “hot deals” is not our penny group.  Our penny group is Friendly DG Penny Shopping with Penny Puss but also note that you must answer all questions as well as be a member of Facebook for at least a year for us to add you.  We reserve the right to deny membership to our groups at our own discretion.  It is very rare, but sometimes even after you join the group, you just might not be a good fit.  I apologize to anyone who is deleted from either group, but it’s for wellbeing of the entire group.
