The stores are supposed to dispose of these items, so it is always possible that they may ring up as “no sale” or as “not found”.  Please remember that we have no affiliation with Dollar General and there is absolutely nothing you can do if they ring this way.  The only way to buy an item for a penny is if it rings up as a penny.
