Dollar General Penny List for Oct 1

The Dollar General penny shopping list for tomorrow, October 1st is the “summer drinks”, but they are not actually drinks.  Kind of like the summer BBQ that pennied a few weeks back were not actually BBQ items, well, most weren’t.

So, the pennies are as follows.  They are also already in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder.  The app helps to keep you updated with the penny list without having to hunt for it online or on Facebook.  We will also confirm the pennies in the morning before the stores open.  See in the Penny Puss APP for last week to see how we mark categories as confirmed.

If you are new to penny shopping, please go to PennyPussAPP.com and learn the basics as you are not supposed to ask for price checks for items you think may be pennies.  They do not have to sell if you do.  Also, as a rule, you shouldn’t be talking to employees about pennies either.

The other item that is supposed to be pulled tomorrow is the Spiderman comics that is a gift with purchase with Kellogg’s cereal.  These were located at my stores on an endcap between cereal boxes.  They have been ringing all along for only 2¢ each … I really wonder if they will ring a penny tomorrow or stay at 2¢.  Not that it matters, just odd if they reduce them by a whole penny.

The Clearance Event will be over today.  I hope you all got some good deals in the past few days.  I am not sure what the percentages are going to be tomorrow on the seasonal items, but I don’t think they will be any better than today’s prices.  Not yet … we will probably have to wait for them to go down a bit more.  I’ll update when I know more.
