Dollar General Penny Shopping List for food is NOT a penny list!

This is the second time in the past month or so that websites out there have posted lists that are not pennies.  Sure, we can all make mistakes, but you all need to own it and put out a post to stop people from trying these items.  It is possible that they are pennies at select locations, but that is not the penny lists we put out.

Especially THIS time!  The “wrong” list that was put out is food.  Refrigerated and frozen food.  I see people in groups saying “try it” even though so many have said that it is not pennied.  There are tons of penny shoppers … tons of people “trying” these items.  Would YOU want to be the one who purchases chicken after it being in and out of refrigeration 20 or more times today?  I am getting weary of penny shopping in this manner.  There used to be unwritten ettiquette in penny shopping.  But now it just seems to be a lot of people running around trying everything.  And others who keep saying, “try it”.  Sure, I try things now and then, but it’s not based on a whim.  It’s based on what I really think is a penny.  And so what if you do miss a penny!  It’s really not the end of the world.  I really wish some of you had to work at DG and see the crap that these employees have to deal with.  Sure, there are nice penny shoppers … people who respect stores, but more and more there seems to be an entitled attitude.

I am getting ready to send out an announcement through the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder to let anyone with the app know that the food items posted by the other sites is NOT a penny list.  I HATE cleaning up after other irresponsible bloggers.  And, don’t get me wrong.  I understand that they all probably aren’t affiliated with DG either … but you can own up to it and get the word out!  And some sites don’t even care if their info is right … they are just click bait.

Penny shopping is supposed to be fun.  Sure the stores don’t like it so much … but stuff like this doesn’t help either.

Please be a responsible penny shopper.  Don’t make the store  a bunch of extra work.
