Dollar General remodels …what is going to happen tomorrow?
So with everything I have heard so far, this is what I think will happen tomorrow for some Dollar General remodel stores that had frozen 50% off 2 weeks ago.
I “think” that the regular stores that penny tomorrow will be closed. And, they will reopen on a Thursday or Friday. I was told that the stores may reset by Friday. We still won’t know for certain until it happens because over the 10+ years of posting about penny shopping, I have seen stores get incorrect information too.
I “think” (again, we have no affiliation with Dollar General) that the smaller remodels such as the cheap toys and select older Baked with Love will still penny at some point. These may actually be considered “resets” and not remodels, but I don’t see them closing the store for these items.
But, they could also stop items from pennying at any time. We are in new territory now … they seem to be trying to stop the big remodel hauls.
Hopefully we have at least some time after a regular remodel to look for pennies that are restocked. And, hopefully we still have the other remodels and resets.
And, another … I hope that they still put frozen and refrigerated foods at 50% off for some of the regular remodel stores. That’s always a great deal too!
I have no way to check to see if a store is open … it is up to you to figure out if you should go or not if your store pennies tonight.
