Dollar General: Surprise Penny List?

Thank you to the person who sent this to me (who asked not to be named)! This is supposed to be a surprise penny list for Dollar General today! I have checked quite a few stores in the Dollar General app and it seems like this is only for select locations.

I have a lot to do today, so I can’t get out to check at one of our local stores that shows the items as $0.00 when scanning the UPC provided in the app. Please remember if they scan full price at your store, they are NOT going to be a penny at the register. If you do take them to the register and they do not ring a penny, please put them back immediately as this is perishable food.

I added one scannable barcode so that you can scan with your phone from your computer if you have both. This is just for convenience. You can also manually enter the barcodes into the DG app too.
