How to find a UPC for Dollar General.

Well, I’m assuming you don’t have the product in hand as it would be right on the product. And, maybe you know this and maybe you don’t. Dollar General changed their URL’s on their site a while back to include the UPC number. Yes, it’s THAT easy to find the UPC!

Most of you use the DG app, and you cannot find the URL as far as I know using the DG app. You must go to the actual website. So, what do you do with this information after you have it? You can search Brickseek using the URL … or save it to check in the Dollar General app. I think they three stores now if you have the free membership. If you have a paid membership, they search additional stores. I am not sure how many you get with the $10 membership (I think it’s 8), and I think it’s 12 with the $30 membership.

Maybe you just want to make a list of items to check. Anyway, for whatever reason, you now know how to find the UPC if you don’t have the product in hand.

You can make your own UPC’s and scan them instead of putting them in manually each time! You MUST have 2 devices to do this though unless you print them out. I add them to either my Facebook page (set to privacy of “me” only) or use Google Docs to post them in. This way, I can use my phone to scan my computer screen. See the video below:

So, if you don’t know already, all remodels are different. There are some things that are at “most” but most of the items are different for each store.

If you want to find out what will penny at your remodel, you can search the DG app or DG.com set at your store to see what is 50% off right now. Most items that are 50% off will penny. Not always seasonal if it’s 50% … but it may vary.
