Dollar General update on some pennies.

Update on a few items for Dollar General pennies.

First off, there was a $10 red slow cooker that pennied a while back.  It is STILL a penny IF the UPC matches the one in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder.  If it is a different UPC, then it is NOT a penny.  Remember that Dollar General puts new merchandise out all the time that is the same or almost the same as previous merchandise.  If you are new to penny shopping, please see the links towards the bottom of this page, especially the link for the “basics”.

Remember too, that items can reset back to full price at any time.  Penny Puss is a reputable site known for integrity in penny shopping.  Some websites out there mislead people or don’t give them the full scope of understanding.  These sites also give penny shoppers a bad rap due to shoppers grabbing all kinds of items that are not pennies.  This leads to disappointed shoppers and frustrated employees.  If you see something on another site that you don’t see with us, please let us know so that we can either verify or denounce … or explain the real story.  Many stores don’t  like penny shoppers and that is one big reason … the uprise of the misleading … almost “click-bait” penny, clearance, and coupon sites.

The second thing I want to touch on.  Dollar General is putting out NEW fall and winter merchandise. Some of these items (like the cinnamon brooms and pinecones) are reset back to full price.  If you know of other items that are in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder and have reset, please let us know so that we can correct them!  You can contact us at the bottom tab where it says “share” in the APP itself.

The final thing that I’d like to mention is that with the purple dot home that pennied recently, some are asking if the pink dot home also pennied.  These are ONE IN THE SAME.  There is not really any pink dot home … pink dot can be found on clothing, accessories, and socks.  The pink dot home items are just a bad dye.  They are considered purple dot even though they look pink.  So, yes, the purple dot home that look pink also pennied.  I hope that’s clear … if it’s not, please let me know.
