FoodSaver FM2000 Vacuum Sealer – awesome deal w/ bonus!

I ran across this hot price on the FoodSaver FM2000 Vacuum Sealer yesterday while looking for a deal on FoodSaver bag rolls.  This is an awesome deal if you are just getting started at vacuum sealing your foods.  The price is approximately $14 less than any other i’ve seen retail right now.

There are so many great benefits of using a vacuum sealer for your foods.

  1. Less waste of leftovers
  2. Cook ahead for fast dinners
  3. Boil in the bag to heat up your leftovers
  4. Keep items fresh longer

FoodSaver FM2000 Manual Vacuum Sealing System Value Bundle with Bags and Hose

This system is budget priced with a nice variety of bags plus the hose attachment!

Walmart is also offering free shipping on orders of $35 or more.

I love my FoodSaver!  I use mine quite often for leftovers or to make meals ahead of time for easy meals later.

My first FoodSaver was a basic model, but when that one eventually needed replaced, I replaced it with a more expensive one.  The one I have now allows you to store the rolls for bags in the top of the appliance.  I have even made freezer ice drinks with mine!

The following picture is from 2013 when I was playing around making freezer drinks.  The bags are sealed perfectly the same sizes … but I did okay!

The recipe for this is as follows:

1 can Minute Maid lemonade concentrate (frozen)
1/2 cup Admiral Nelson coconut rum
2 cups ice
2 cups water
put all in blender. then put in pouches and seal. freeze till needed.

My husband even liked them.

You can try all kinds of ideas with a FoodSaver.  In fact, I sometimes use a bag to marinade my meat.  I have the marinating containers, but it just seems easier to put them in a bag and seal it … then you can flip all you want and no spill.
