When I started out with a FoodSaver, I started out with an inexpensive model like this one.  It’s great to get it at a price like this so that you can try it out and see if it’s something that you will use.  I found out that I used mine a lot … and ended up with a more expensive model – of course I had gotten a deal on that too!

This is the one that I have now, but if you want this one, you might want to wait till it goes on sale.  You can store the bags right in the top and it has a rapid-marinade mode, but you have to purchase the marinators separately.
