NEW Dollar General Shea Moisture FREE or Money Maker!

New DG digital coupon is out:  Dollar General reissued the $4 off 2 (but right this time).  The last one said $4 off $2 and it was pulled.  You can still get a great deal with this coupon.  Let us know how this works for you.

Coupons can be pulled at any time, for a better chance of keeping it, be sure to clip it immediately.  There are paper coupons that can stack with this coupon, since it is a “DG store coupon” and not a manufacturer coupon.

Here are a couple scenarios:

Purchase (2) Shea Moisture Coconut Oil $4 each

Use $4 store digital 

Use $5 off 2 Shea Moisture (had to be put in manually at my store)

FREE or possible $1 overage depending on if your DG has updated their registers to stop overage. 

Remember that DG cannot give you cash back.  If there is overage, you need to cover it with another product.

Purchase (2) Suave Naturals $5 each

Use $4 off store digital
Use $3 off 2 Suave Professionals (from the DG Beauty Bag)

Pay $3 for 2 ($1.50 each)

Purchase (2) Shea Moisture shampoo $5.45 each

Use $4 off store digital

Use $5 off 2 newspaper insert coupon

Pay $1.90 for both (95¢ each)

There is also a $2 off 2 Shea Moisture from the DG beauty bag.

This coupon is also good on Dove Amplified Textured Hair, but I cannot find it in my app to do a scenario.

How to use digital coupons at Dollar General:

  • Go to the DG App or DG Coupons on their website and make an account with your email and phone number.
  • “Clip” the coupons to your account.
  • When making a purchase, enter your phone number into the pin pad while the cashier scans your items.
  • Once you have entered your phone number, the cashier can hit total and your digitals will deduct.

If using a $5 off $25 digital coupon, your total needs to be at least $25, BEFORE coupons but AFTER instant savings. Tax does not count toward the $25 total. Hand over any manufacturer paper coupons after digitals have applied.
If using a $5 off $25 paper coupon, have the cashier scan it prior to applying digital coupons. Then enter your phone number for digital coupons to apply. Last, hand over any manufacturer paper coupons.
**Scan items with the app to double check you have the digital coupon clipped and it is still attaching properly.**
