Heads up for the next Dollar General Extra Clearance Event!

If you haven’t already heard, Dollar General is scheduling a 50% off Extra Clearance Event starting next Friday!  Some stores have had their own clearance recently, but this is supposed to be at all of them.

Sometimes select stores even have 70% off, but this is rare.  It sure doesn’t hurt to check your stores though!  Get your coupons ready too.  There are lots of laundry products and toilet paper that have just hit clearance!  They are most likely only 10% off now, but during the Clearance Event from May 3-5, they should be an extra 50% off … and combine that with coupons and you can come out with some really hot deals!

I have not seen any seasonal categories mentioned in the Clearance Event, so we will have to wait until it starts printing on the receipts to see if brown dot home, blue/gray dot clothing, and winter hardware will be included.  They usually mention categories specifically, but all I have seen so far is that it’s POG clearance and clearance section.
