Honey – is it really the best way to get a deal? According to MegaLab, it is NOT!

Personally, I am pretty good at finding a coupon code when I need one.  A lot of the sites dedicated to coupons, however, say that they have coupons, but none of them seem to work.  

So, I never downloaded “Honey” … I always just thought it was a scheme to steal your information, but it turns out that it is worse than that.  They actually DON’T always give you the best deal and sometimes say that there is no coupon deal … even though there may actually be a deal out there! 

The video is geared towards affiliates/creators but ALSO consumers.  It was really disturbing to me how big business can control what discount you get and tell you that you got the best deal.  Check it out.  I honestly don’t like watching videos and don’t follow too many people on YouTube, but this one was recommended to me.

It also irks me though that every time I use an affiliate link, I am required to post a disclaimer … yet “Honey” doesn’t seem to do that.  Although, I am guessing if you download the extension, it may be terms and conditions.  Anyway, if this interests you, take a look at this video from MegaLag:
