How to check on the status of your stimulus check

The IRS has added a link to their site for you to check on the status of your stimulus check.  The site may take longer than usual to load as there are probably a lot of people looking right now.

Some people have already received their stimulus money directly deposited to their account.  If you have not, you can check this link:

IRS/ Economic Impact Payment

Also, you can go to that link and enter your payment information if:

  • You did not file a 2018 or 2019 federal income tax return because your gross income was under $12,200 ($24,400 for married couples). This includes people who had no income. Or
  • You weren’t required to file a 2018 or 2019 federal income tax return for other reasons

Mine says “status unavailable”.
