If you use Amazon for Subscribe and Save, please recheck prices!

I don’t know exactly what is going on with Amazon, but they seem to be really raising prices (more than normal) on quite a few things that I have “saved for later” and one that I have on subscribe and save. 

If you put an item on subscribe and save, you do NOT lock in the price forever.  You get the price that the product is when it is shipped.  Here is an example:  

I purchased Agrothrive Organic Fruit & Flower Fertilizer for under $60 last month.  It usually fluctuates between $60 and $65 now, but increased a bit over the past couple years.  For the last couple days, it has jumped a bit EACH day.  One day going to $82, the next $89, and today over $92!  That is WAY more than the manufacturer website charges (and Agrothrive.com also offers free shipping).  

If I don’t cancel my subscribe and save order with Amazon, that $92 may be the price I pay depending on when my order ships.  This is why I DO NOT recommend subscribe and save!

In the name of convenience, you are allowing them to price gouge! 

Amazon has always fluctuated prices like this, but I have not seen it to this extreme with items that I buy frequently. 

The price for this size on Agrothrive’s website is $62.97.  Amazon is $92.97 this morning.  Yes, a whopping $30 more!  So, if you are buying this fertilizer, go to Agrothrive’s website.  I have NO affiliation with them, I just love their products!
