Lots of stuff on clearance at Walmart – YMMV!

There is so much stuff on clearance at Walmart right now!  It seems like every time I go in, there are more clothes marked down … and many of them to only $1 each!  I bought 2 bottles of Renpure body wash for only $1.34 each and a Degree deodorant for $1.34 for my husband.  Yes, I made it out of Walmart under $10 today … and I even bought a bag of onions!

A lot of the bath and body items were out of stock, but you can use Brickseek to search for the SKU.  Just remember that Brickseek is not always correct on stock quantities.  They are usually correct on prices though.

Here are some pictures that I took of clearance:

The throw blanket is from yesterday, I found them (and bought them).  They were in the regular aisle with full price blankets.

If you don’t have a UPC, go to Brickseek and search for the item.  Right above in the inventory checker for Walmart, you can click on a link to search for an item.  When you do this, it will put the Walmart SKU number in the search box.

If you can’t find the item on Brickseek’s search, you can try searching Walmart’s site for the SKU number.  Search for the item and when you find it, you take the number after the backslash and put it in Brickseek as your SKU number.

Here is an example: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Old-Spice-Antiperspirant-Deodorant-for-Men-Dragonblast-2-6-Oz/935441305 (935441305 would be the SKU number to put into Brickseek’s inventory checker.

A lot of the clearance was in the regular aisles, so if you are just checking the clearance aisle, you are probably missing out on some good deals.  I like to scan items on end caps too.  A lot of times these items are forgotten about and they markdown without anyone marking them as clearance.

In our local store, there is another aisle next to the regular clearance that has toy markdowns … but they move stuff around all the time and it’s easy to lose track of something.  I didn’t even look through the food area to see if there was any markdowns.  I guess next time I will check that side of the store.

I want to add that if there is no product on the shelf, always look on the top shelf where they keep excess stock.  I have gotten lucky many times by doing just that.

Happy shopping!
