My Dollar General Penny Order Arrived!

Woo hoo!  I got my order yesterday for my penny sun care items that I purchased from Dollar General online!  Dollar General does not always have penny items online, but I have purchased them a few times in the past.  The website sometimes differs from prices in store.

So, on December 24th, I posted that I put in an order for 27 total items – each costing a penny.  The shipping was $6.99.  A few people commented that they weren’t actually a penny if I paid shipping, but if you divide $7 by 27 items, it’s under 30¢ each per item.  A good deal to me.

Any time the items are available online, they sell out really quickly.  The key is to get enough items to make it worth paying the shipping fee if there is no coupon available for free shipping.
