My extra 50% off Clearance Haul from Dollar General yesterday!

Yesterday was the first day of the 3-day EXTRA 50% off clearance at Dollar General.  The picture of my haul from yesterday is missing 6 boxes of diapers and 2 family size boxes of Nabisco Premium Saltines.

ADDED:  Please note that you do NOT add the two percentages together.  The extra 50% off is off of the price AFTER the percentage marked.

For instance.  If an item is 40% off and then you get the extra 50% off this weekend, you DO NOT add 40 and 50 to get 90%.

An item that is $10 at 40% off would be $6 – then you take 50% or half off of that – making the item $3.  (Final price is 70% off.)

If an item is 50% off and then you get an extra 50% off – you don’t add then together to make it 100% off.  It’s 50% off original price – so $10 item will be $5 – then the extra 50% will make it half off the $5.  Ending price will be $2.50 (Final price is 75% off.)

And, so forth.

$2.00 off any ONE package of HUGGIES Diapers

If you purchase $15 or  more of Huggies diapers, you get a $4 off coupon on your receipt toward your next purchase of Huggies of $4 or more!  You CANNOT stack this with a manufacturer coupon, it doesn’t work.

Some people were getting confused about this.  The advertisement for this coupon prints sometimes on the receipt, it is NOT the coupon.  If you get the coupon, there will be a bar code on the receipt.

Some of the percentages will differ by location.  The Star Wars headset was $1.50 – which means that Q4 electronics were still only 70% off at this store (the extra 50% off brought them down to $1.50).  Remember after the 3-day clearance, these items will go back to the regular clearance price.

Gillette Razors rang $3.15 used $3 off printable coupon.
Poise Microliners rang $1.87 used a $2 off any Poise that came with this freebie.
Goody’s Headache powder shot rang $1.22 used $2 off printable when you sign up here.
Magic Eraser rang up $1.22 used 75¢ off Magic Eraser printable.
Summer BBQ foods:   Kool Aid, Wylers, Welch’s, Crush, Sweet Baby Rays, and various freezer pops ranged from 25%-70% plus the extra 50% off  – depending on location.
6-pack of Sparkle mini paper towels rang $2.25 and I used the $1 off printable.
Dixie plates rang up $1.35.
Sundown vitamins rang about $1.80 and there are various coupons in the Coupon Database on our website.
Air Wick rang up only $1.17 and I used $2/1 Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra Refill, exp. 9/4/16 (SS 08/07/16)
Garnier shampoo/conditioner rang up $1.12 each.  I used $1/1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner, Treatment or Style Product, exp. 9/24/16 (RP 08/28/16) [Excludes 1.7-3-oz.]
Ocelo sponges were the only item that they had to hit the markdown cart button.  They were in clearance with a clearance sticker … so they honored the extra 50% off.  There is a $1/2 printable.Dove men’s shampoo was $1.50 and I used $1/1 Dove Men+Care Hair Care or Styling Product, exp. 9/4/16 (RP 08/07/16) [ETS]

Mickey Mouse shoes, artificial flowers, denim shirt, rain hat, and the glow in the dark stars were all penny items.
