New pennies for Tuesday, July 25th at Dollar General!

Who is ready for some pennies?

Well, this Tuesday coming up, we “should” have pennies! Gray star socks and tights as well as pink dot accessories should penny. Also, the select “As Seen on TV” that went to 90% this past Tuesday should penny.

If you have the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder, you will note that the “As Seen on TV” items are already loaded in – they will not be changed over from 90% to a penny in the app until sometime Tuesday after they have been verified to have pennied. Many of the sock UPC’s are also loaded in the app but will not show until Tuesday morning. This is done to prevent confusion.

I know there is a lot of rumor about the app not being updated.  It is updated quite frequently.  We have over 7700 items in the app now.  Of course we miss things.  I can only add what I know is a penny.  I have wonderful people who post, send, and email me pictures and receipts.  It is the best and most reliable penny shopping app for Dollar General out there.  Everything is input by me and is checked for accuracy.  Unfortunately, no, it does not have a scanner.  You must manually (oh, I know … how barbaric!) enter the last 4 to 5 of the UPC to narrow down the search.

The app is an in-store convenience item and not a replacement for your own research and judgement.

This app is an in-store tool.  It is best used with Facebook Groups and our Lists.
