Newspapers.com FREE search through midnight!

I’m sorry that I am so late posting this, but I am having so much fun searching in the newspapers!  Ancestory.com is offering free searches on their newpapers.com through 11:59 pm tonight.  I am finding out so much cool stuff today!

I was actually thinking I might find marriage or birth announcements, but instead, I am finding little bits of just really fun stuff!  Here is what I found out today so far:

  • My dad won a contest in high school for decorating their door.
  • My husband led the Pledge of Allegiance at a PTA meeting when he was in grade school.
  • My husband’s band won first prize during his high school’s senior year talent show!

Go to NEWSPAPERS.com and check it out!  I also found a celebration for my aunt and uncle’s 25th wedding anniversary and lots of other fun stuff.  I wish it was free a little longer so I could search more.
