Purple dot has pennied at Dollar General today.  If you are new to penny shopping, please see the links at the bottom to better understand the process.

As predicted, purple dot home has pennied at Dollar General today. There is only one exclusion that I know of so far, and that is an etched bud vase. This item has a purple dot, but when I purchased it, it was not marked down with the other purple dots. It is excluded. When you search for it in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder, it will come up with a red screen that says “not a penny”. We do this occasionally for items that have been excluded to ease the process for both the shopper and the employees. We try to keep the most up-to-date information so that your checkout process is smooth and simple!

Okay, back to purple dot. There are some things that were marking down with purple dot, but do not have the dot. We call these “hidden” purple dots … as they are easily hidden in plain site!
