Rite Aid Sale & Clearance Haul!

I haven’t been to Rite Aid in a couple of weeks, but when I noticed in their ad flyer this week that they had a $10 off $40 coupon, I decided to go check out the deals.  I saved

Also, Lisa told me of some clearance to look for while I was there.  Remember that Rite Aid Load 2 Card coupons will count against the threshold of the coupon, but paper coupons will not.

I ended up with over $50 worth of merchandise because I had good coupons on some of the clearance, but all in all, this was an awesome haul!

Subtotal was $53.35

  • $10 off $40 RA coupon
  • $4 off Compeed insert coupon
  • $4 off Compeed insert coupon
  • $5 Nexxus insert coupon
  • $5/2 Tresseme insert coupon
  • BOGO Garnier Treats insert coupon ($6.39)
  • $4 Acuvue Peelie on box
  • $2 quality freshness RA coupon on box

Paid $12.96 = tax

Got back $2 in Bonus Cash!

Here is my receipt, but I will explain it all.  My husband just told me the other day that I need to be on the lookout for a deal on detergent and I pretty much got all this for less than a dollar more than the 4 All detergents that I was going to buy anyway!

The receipt was a little long, so I took two pictures to get it in.

The first 2 items on the receipt are the Compeed that were on clearance for $4.99 and I had (2) $4 coupons, making them only 99¢ each.

The next item is the Nexus conditioner that was in the 75% off area.  I actually didn’t know the price, but figured it would be close to free with the $5 off Nexxus insert coupon.

The Tresseme conditioners were also 75% off clearance, making them $1.87 each.  Since Rite Aid is not supposed to give coupon overage, I decided to get 3 of them to completely cover the $5 off 2 coupon.

The Fructis Treat Shampoo was on sale for $7.99, but I have gold membership, and I guess the discount for gold was for more than it was on sale, so they rang up $6.39.  I also had a buy one get one free Fructis Treats from this week’s Sunday insert – making them both for $6.39 (approx $3.20 each).

The Acuvue was on sale for $7.99 and had $6 worth of coupons right on it, so I grabbed it.  The coupons included a $4 peelie for a “new” type of product as well as a $2 Rite Aid coupon, but the date was good on the product through May.

Then, I grabbed 4 of the All detergent that was on sale for $3 each and earned $1 per each 2.

What you get and your total is going to depend on what coupons you have as well as what items are on clearance and what is in stock.  My haul is just an idea of what to look for and what awesome deal you can get with the $10 off $40 coupon that is in the ad.  If you don’t have the coupon in the ad, you can get it online.  It is only good for store use though.
