Staples: Epson ET-2720 EcoTank Printer $199!

Due to people converting Epson EcoTank printers for sublimation printing, some of these printers are getting hard to find.  Last night, I couldn’t find an ET-2720 Epson printer anywhere online except for 3rd party sellers (resellers).  And, some of the sellers were asking ridiculous amounts even for refurbished models.

I was a little disappointed because I just can’t justify an expensive printer right now, so I figured I was just out of luck.  This morning, however, I found an Epson ET-2720 in stock online from Staples for $249, so I ordered it!  Well, I went to Joann’s later today and Dollar Tree … and Staples is right in that area too, so I decided to go in.

Guess what?  I found the ET-2720 printer on sale (must be Staples in store only) for only $199.  That’s a $50 savings!  So, I went ahead and bought another one.  I am not keeping both, I tried to cancel the one I ordered online, but it was too late.  I will return it to the store when it gets here though.

You might want to check your local Walmart, Target, or even Best Buy too.  Best Buy showed $199 online, but wouldn’t let me check out though.  You might have better luck.

Even if you just need a new printer (not for converting to sublimation), I do recommend Epson EcoTank printers.  My husband and I both have different models, and I know we have saved a lot of money by not having to buy cartridges all the time.
