Surprise pennies today at Dollar General?

So, last time that I found some random pennies on the Dollar General website, I was a day late.  These items just showed up this morning as a penny on their website.  Usually that means “new” surprise pennies.  These are probably a previous year’s garden or possible NCI items.  Honestly, I don’t know.  I just know that they showed up this morning as a penny when I searched my local store.

Remember that penny items are supposed to be pulled from the shelves.  We get what the employees miss.  Please do not ask about the penny items.  Go in and search for the items, scan similar things … don’t make a mess!  If you find items that scan 0.00 in the DG app then they are most likely penny items.  I like to scan twice, just to be sure it’s not a glitch. 

Also, be sure to have your DG app set to the correct store.
