Target is trying to outdo Walmart … and it’s looking good for holiday shoppers!

Walmart has been offering free two-day shipping with $35 order for a while now, but they are also ramping up efforts to make in store shopping easier!  If you haven’t noticed already, Walmart has orange markers around the stores with number and letter combinations.  This is part of the digital map that they are rolling out to make it easier to locate items in the store!  Also, they are going to start a new “Checkout with Me” feature that will allow customers to pay in the department where they are shopping … and avoid the checkout lines!  Walmart also offers free in store pickup when ordering online, so this also saves shipping fees.  Credit to Reuters.com.

And while Target has also been offering free shipping on $35 or more, they have now announced that they will be offering free shipping on all online purchases with no minimum (there may be exceptions) during the holiday shopping season which will run from November 1st through December 22nd. How awesome is that!

I think Target is going to give everyone a run for their money this year!  How this benefits you depends on if you like in store or online shopping.
