Today’s $5 off $25 haul … and $5 of $30 next week?
My husband and I went to Dollar General to use the $5 off $25 digital coupon combined with other coupons for some retail therapy today. We ended up just getting one scenario as my some items wer low in stock.
I did get an awesome deal though. My total was over $27 before all digital coupons and after I added my phone number to the key pad, the total went down to only $7.80 +tax! Plus, the Mt Dew single beverage is giving me $1.99 back from Ibotta!

When submitting my receipt to Ibotta, I noticed that the coupon on the receipt for next week is $5 off $30 instead of $5 off $25.
The receipt does say, “Sign up and save $5 off $25 this Saturday exclusively with DG Digital Coupons.” I am wondering if this is higher amount is due to the upcoming clearance event, or if this is going to be the new normal for receipt coupons.
Anyway, we will just have to wait and see.
Happy shopping!
