Vitacost: 20% off Food/Beverages (including my favorite spice brand!)
Vitacost is one of my favorite online stores and they carry my favorite spice brand “Frontier Co-op”. I prefer organics when they have them … and buying in bulk is one way to save money over regular store brands. I don’t recommend buying spices in bulk unless you use a lot of that item.
Penny Puss has no affiliation with this store or brand.

I don’t buy all of my spices in bulk, because spices are usually best when used within a year or so. Otherwise, they do degrade a bit. A few of the ones that I do buy in bulk are peppercorns, granulated garlic, and granulated onion. I also did get a 16 oz bag of caraway seeds and a 16 oz bag of mustard seeds this last time. I want to make rye bread similar to our local Giant Eagle. They pile in those caraway seeds! And the reason that I bought the mustard seeds is that I want to make pickled mustard seeds.
Here is my 16 oz bag of Frontier Co-op four peppercorn blend. The Tupperware container is what I didn’t grind yet and the pint jar will go to my sister – she likes this blend freshly ground too. The small one on the bottom right is what I will use before grinding more. As you can see, it’s a nice amount of pepper … and I am telling you that freshly ground pepper is so much better than that already ground stuff you buy in the store. I used to use a pepper grinder at the table, but now I just use a small coffee grinder and grind a little at a time (or a little more at a time when giving to my sister).
Anyway, while I like do prefer organics, they also have standard non-organic in the Frontier brand at a little less than the organic prices as well as other brands.
Vitacost usually has good coupon codes, you just have to sign up for their emails to get them sent to you. Sometimes they send out 10-20% off just for you to finish your order. I got 15% coupon codes in the mail too.
Some of the product coupon codes stack with overall codes for even better deals. Right now, they have 20% off food and beverages (probably some exclusions) but most of the Frontier Co-op spices are included in the 20% off.
You can check out the Frontier Co-op spices here —-> Frontier Co-op on Vitacost
You can find some Kroger brand items too (Vitacost is owned by Kroger) —> Kroger brand on Vitacost
Their free shipping threshold is $50 (I think it’s less if you buy their select brands).
I also like some of the Lakewood organic juices, especially the cherry concentrate for when I am making my own water kefir.
Anyway, check out the sale that they are having and then check out the “promo pocket” tab to see what other savings you can get now. As I said, sometimes they do stack. If they don’t stack, they will let you know.
Happy shopping!
