I have not personally tried Rebel Garden’s Kit, but I do grow microgreens from time to time … and most likely will start again soon as the garden is winding down for the year.
Many of you probably don’t know this, but I try to eat/buy organic and naturally grown (no pesticide) products. There aren’t a lot of good organic veggies in my area though, so I try to grow some of my own.
The only local place that I can find organic onions is Walmart and they were out of stock for a few days. Luckily I did grow a few onions this year, so I used the ones that I had drying from my garden in the interim.
And, besides being out of stock locally, the produce just doesn’t last when you buy it from the store. It seems like it goes bad so quickly. The organic onions came back in stock, but they looked like they had been frozen and will probably not last very long … or I would have purchased two bags.
The lettuce I bought two days ago was already getting slimy when I pulled the package out for dinner last night. What is the solution? Well, grow your own food. As much as you possibly can. And, you can do it in small spaces!
Good luck with the contest!
