11% off military/veterans at Dollar General today!

For this deal, you will need to have signed up and verified your military/veteran status in advance with your Dollar General account. Each month (usually) the second Wednesday of the month, you will see a Dollar General digital coupon in your account for this military/veteran discount of 11%. Occasionally, they change it up, but it is usually 11% and on the second Wednesday of each month.

This discount has been working a little different with the pick up orders than in store orders.  It seems that manufacturer coupons come off first when you are in store, then the 11% coupon.  But, for some items, and you can check by adding items for pick up, the 11% comes off BEFORE manufacturer coupons giving you a bigger savings.

Also, some DG store digitals as well as instant savings do not combine.

All in all, it is an excellent coupon.  This week, Pepsi and Mt Dew 6 packs of bottles are on sale for 3 for $9.  When I add to my store pick up, it shows only $7.59 for 3 6-packs after coupon!  But, the General Mills Cereal that is 3 for $6 – and 3 for $4 after stackable $1 digital manufacturer and $1 DG store digital, does not reduce additionally.  The 11% does not attach.
