This is a staple in my house. It’s so quick and easy to make chili and it’s really tasty! It says just add meat and tomatoes, but I have made it a few different ways depending if we had company and if I doubled it.
I have used this with meat and occasionally veggie crumbles. If you don’t have ground meat defrosted, the veggie crumbles are a lot quicker. You can have dinner ready fast! I have a few bags of TVP that I purchased during the beginning of the pandemic as “emergency food”. I’d like to try to make chili with that some day soon. I do like diced celery in my chili as it gives it a nice little crunch while onions just get soft. If I double the recipe, I usually add a can of black beans. Other than that, a bit of cheese shreds and a little bit of Red Hot for excellent quick entree.
