I sometimes cook for a whole weekend and then vacuum seal smaller portions for meals. It’s great when you don’t have a lot of time to just pull out a previously-cooked meal and warm it with no fuss.
I usually buy both the 8 inch and the 11 inch so I have whichever I need.

With the gardening season right around the corner, it would be a great time to stock up! I really need to start canning vegetables too … but I don’t have the confidence for that yet.
I made adult freezer pops with mine a while back.
Adapted from a couple different recipes online.
- 1 can Minute Maid lemonade concentrate (freezer section)
- 1/2 cup Admiral Nelson coconut rum
- 2 cups ice
- 2 cups water
Put it all in a blender and pour into pouches. Seal pouches and then freeze them! Perfect summer coolers!
Also, as I mentioned, you can use the vacuum sealer to keep items dry and waterproof if you are going swimming or camping.
