DG Clearance Event updated in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder

I have shared the same clearance information in my posts, but want to show those who have the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder what is available in the app.

Recent updates category in the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder show the highly discounted items at Dollar General.  This the original penny shopping app available since 2014.  We are more than just a scanning database.  But if you have our app, you know that.  We care about not only you, the shopper, but the stores too.  When other sites give out bad information, we try to get the word out to correct it.  And, we take responsibility for our own posts.

We at Penny Puss believe that you should respect the stores.  We don’t agree with coupon misuse or coupon glitches … no, not even digital.  Someone has to pay when you misuse coupons.  Back to the app …

Some of the clearance that will be (should be) included in the 3-day event starting tomorrow.  Remember that we have no affiliation with Dollar General and occasionally they mess up.  It seems like clearance doesn’t always ring properly during one of these events.  Please try to stay calm.  The cashier has no control over how things ring up.  And if it’s not a clearance item, don’t expect an override!

I was told that the 1/2 off appliances do NOT show discontinued, so they will most likely not ring up the extra % off.  Some of the categories that ARE supposed to be included shown on the Penny Puss APP with DG Penny Finder below, should ring the extra % off though.

I have added cheat sheets in the clearance event tab to help you figure out prices.  There are cheat sheets for 50% off stores and cheat sheets for 70% off stores.

There are 6 cheat sheets for each EXTRA percentage.  There is 10%, 25%, 40%, 50%, 70%, and 90% for each of the extra % off amounts.  I don’t think we will need the 90% but I included it anyway.

Also, under the clearance event tab, you will see clearance items, but just know that not every clearance item is in here.  If you want us to add something, you can send through the “share your finds” tab in the app.
