CVS carepass $5 gets you $10 store reward and free no minimum shipping

CVS Carepass is now available nationwide.

You can choose to pay $5/month or $48/year.(+tax)

EDIT: Right now, if you sign up IN STORE  for the monthly, you get the first month free. I didn’t pay anything, and immediately the $10 reward was loaded to my card and ready to use!  I have up to 3 days prior to the next renewal to cancel if I choose, otherwise my credit card will be charged $5 for the next month.

In return, you get:

*$10 store reward(extra care buck) to your cvs account every month to use online or in store. Expires in 30 days.

*Free shipping with no minimum purchase.

*20% off select CVS health products.(this came as a coupon sent to my card, so I’m not sure if it’s multiple use or just once per month)

 

A few things to know about shopping online at CVS:

If there is a “spend $x get $ecb” deal, it is different than in store. You need to be at or above the spend threshold AFTER coupons, to earn the ecb. Coupons do not affect deals that are based on quantity (buy 2 get $ecb).

Both manufacturer digital coupons and CVS digital coupons, sent to your card,  will apply to your online order. If you already printed your CVS coupons, add the 16 digit number to the “coupon code” box online.

If you earn an extra care buck from an online purchase,  you have one week to send to your card or print,  but when you do that it extends the expiration date to the usual 30 days.

 

When using your $10 reward:

If using online, your total, not including tax, needs to be at least $10.01. In store, you can use for under $10, but the remainder is lost. For example you are buying something for $9.99 and are willing to forfeit the penny. But be careful,  if you don’t want to use the reward, be sure to tell the cashier so s/he doesn’t apply it.
