Dollar General – 3 for $3 select General Mills Cereal!

I told someone that I would look for a deal on cereal and well, I found it!  This deal depends on your store having coupon peelies on select cereal that is included in the General Mills 3 boxes for $6 deal.

So, 3 for $6 is a decent deal to begin with and that is what you will get without any coupons at all, but you may be able to score a better deal like I did!

Some of the new Dunkaroos cereal also has $1 peelie coupons attached, but they do not scan for 3 for $6, they are 2 for $5.  So if you buy 2 ($5) with 2 ($1) coupons, you will pay $3 for 2 boxes.  Do not try to mix them in with the 3 for $6 as it will throw your total way off.
