Dollar General 70% off Markdowns for Oct 17th!

Most of summer and back to school are going to 70% off tomorrow at Dollar General.  You can choose to go for the 70% … or you can wait until Friday during the Dollar General seasonal clearance event to get an extra 50% off!

Some of these categories are not mentioned in the clearance event, so they may not be included starting Friday.  It’s possible they forgot to add them to the list, but also possible that they are excluding it this time around.

So, if something is originally $10, tomorrow it should be 70% off or $3.  Starting Friday, some seasonal categories would then be $1.50 (50% off the $3 price).  But, you have to realize you will have the best pick of what is left the sooner you go!

These are the 70% off categories starting Tuesday, Oct 17:

  • Gentle Step swim pants (s/m/l) 876254003063 876254003070 876254003087
  • Summer insecticides
  • “Select” Studio Selections sun care
  • Fourth of July party (not flags) plates, napkins, banner, sunglasses, necklace, etc.
  • Purple dot party plates/napkins
  • Back to school
  • Pink square swim/summer including things like pools and toys … but not chalk or bubbles
  • Lawn/garden excluding fans, grills, charcoal, hoses, soil
  • Green dot home

There may be additional exclusions for each of these categories.  Be sure to verify the price in Dollar General’s own app.
